Elaine Wallace

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral services at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.

Elaine passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015. She was the 4th of 9 children; she was born in Gadsden, Alabama on October 25, 1947 to James Lewis and Lula Mae Audrey Russell. She was a member of Park Heights Assembly of God for 23 years where she taught Sunday school for 19½ years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Gray and Rita Tucker; brother, James Lewis Russell Jr.; mother-in-law, Jewel Musick; fathers-in-law, Carl Musick and Bill Wallace; brothers-in-law, Billy Fred Wallace and Max Wayne Wallace; and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Wallace.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Bobby Wallace of Tyler; daughters, Brenda Brungot of Tyler and Symantha and Bryant Simmons of Tyler; son, Bobby Wallace Jr. and Tammy of Lindale; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patsy and Herschel O'Kelly of Anniston, Alabama; Dale Bedwell of Tyler; Joyce Phillips of Edom; Deborah and Bill Kidd of Tyler; Peggy and Larry Moffeit of Bullard; sisters-in-law, Betty Russell of Tyler; Elizabeth and Ron Frater of Lindale; and Audra and Maurice Blanton of Tyler; brothers-in-law, Perry and Barbara Wallace of Ukappa, California; and Charlie Wallace of Bullard; 48 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
