Frankie Reed, 80, of Tyler passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the presence and home of family due to complications from cancer. Mrs. Reed was a homemaker who worked several jobs intermittently to help support her family. Frankie was born February 13, 1937 in Kilgore where she attended school. She met and married Billy Burren Reed at the age of seventeen and remained a loving caring wife until his death on October 18, 2014.
She is survived by her children Debra Downey of Tyler, Dena Martin of Frankston, Donna Martin of Lindale, Mark Reed of Tyler, Micah Jason Reed of McKinney, and their perspective spouses. In addition, she was a very proud Grandmother (Nanny) to fifteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Tyler Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler, Texas is entrusted with all the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Saturday, September 02, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, September 03, 2017 and interment will follow on the grounds.
