Gary Lee Beard

Gary Lee Beard, age 78, of Tyler, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Robert and Harriet Beard.

Gary proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for two years. In 1969, he married the love of his life, Regina, and together they raised three children. A dedicated man, Gary spent over 20 years as a used car salesman at Gary’s Used Cars, where he became well known in the community.

In his spare time, Gary enjoyed antique cars and spending time chatting with his many friends. His warm personality and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Gary is survived by his sons, Randy Beard and Gary Beard; his daughter, Tina Ansel; as well as his cherished grandchildren; Braden Beard, Brandon Scott, Shawn Beard, Ashley Chapmond, and his four great-grandchildren. Braxton, Presley, Skye and Starr.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Regina Beard; his parents, Robert and Harriet Beard; his brothers, Raymond and George Beard; his sister, Gloria Vogt; and his granddaughter, Felisha Beard.

Gary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
