Thinking about aunt sis and Uncle Dewey lately  and what great friends they were to my mom and dad. Mom used to tell me the story about how he made sure he got her a stand for her very first fancy doll and she never forgot it. Great guy! I also have many fond memories of weekend visits to their house.

He was my Uncle and one of the Best uncles ever !! He was my dad’s brother and although he had left town many many years ago and made something of himself and a good life for his family he always treated my family with respect . My husband was stationed in Germany back in 1978 and he was  there in Frankfurt with my aunt Sis , my cousin’s Leslie and little Dewey . Robyn was married by then . I use to go stay with him when my  husband was out in the field for a week or  so . . He is one uncle I think of often . I have been trying to reconnect with the kids . I know what I have to say Robyn would remember more . I also wanted to connect I am sure they all have beautiful family’s now I would love to write back and forth maybe connect on Facebook.. I love you uncle Do I will never forget your smile and your very kind soft ways .
