Her father Dave Thompson and mother Ada Opal Hughes Thompson had three other daughters, Daisy, Libby and Frankye.
She attended school in Winona, Era and Bullard where she graduated.
She married Bill Williams in 1957. She then moved to the Pleasant Grove neighborhood of Dallas where she lived until her death.
While she never had children of her own her many nieces and nephews were her children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Williams, parents Dave and Opal Thompson and sister Libby Jackson.
A visitation will be held on February 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, located at 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler, TX 75704.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the same location.
A committal service will follow at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
