Irene Taplin was raised in Pharr, Texas.

In her spare time, Irene Taplin enjoyed taking Care of her grandchildren and was in the choir at the Union City Apostolic Church in Union City, California.

Irene Taplin’s Family will always remember her as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered as a praying mom.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfredo Ramirez, her mother, Rebeca Rodriguez; siblings Olga Montez and Hilda Gomez.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Cruz-Banks and her husband, James; daughter, Cynthia Cruz-Tatum and her husband, Charles; son, Trinidad Cruz JR and his wife Brenda; son, Jeremy Taplin and his wife Berenice; grandchildren Sierra, Keiana, Stephanie, Jennifer, Amanda, Daniel, Sebastian, Nathania, Isaiah, Lorenzo and Fabian; great grandchildren Destiny and Braylen; and Brothers Alfredo Ramirez JR and wife, Ninfa; Samuel Ramirez and wife Diana, sister Gracie Sanchez and numerous nieces and nephews.
