Jack was a proud Army veteran, who served in Italy and Austria after WWll. He worked in the oil industry all of his life and was able to visit all seven continents through this career. Jack was a committed member and usher at the Primera Asamblea de Dios in Tyler, TX for 35 years. He was an avid lover of sports and football, especially the Texas Longhorns. Jack was a very generous person to most anyone he met, he had a humble, kind heart and was an easy person to trust very early on in friendships. He will be dearly missed by all who were impacted by his life.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marina Tarbutton; children James (Eva) Tarbutton, Danny (Felicia) Tarbutton, and Jackie White; sister Joyce Parsley; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents Charles Dan and Mable Irene Tarbutton; and 12 siblings.
A time of visitation for Jack will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., following the graveside service Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Tyler Memorial Mausoleum.
