On Monday, December 18, 2023, Jeanette Gail Bigham Stanley-a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away in her home at the joyous age of 80. She had a love like no other when it came to her devotion and protection of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Gail had an abundance of family and somehow made each of them feel so special and loved by her. She could light up a room with her contagious laughter and her immense love for babies. She shared an extraordinary endearment for the Gospel from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She often shared God's plan of happiness with her family, bringing those she cared for closer to Heavenly Father. She was eager to be more like Christ every day. Gail was immensely looking forward to being with Heavenly Father again. We know she is looking upon us from above, dancing and shouting excitedly
for friends and family left here on Earth. What joy we can expect to have in the next life when reunited with loved ones!Gail was born on November 8, 1943, in Mineola, TX, to George Edward and Evelyn Madge Averitt Bigham. She was the eldest of 4 children. Gail spent her earlier career working 20+ years at Walmart/Sam's Club. She then retired from her 10 + year position at The Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She was preceded in death by her lovely daughter, Elizabeth Dianne Stanley O'Con, her son-in-law Robert Keith Thompson, and her mother and father.
