On Thursday, September 4, 2020, Jesus Sanchez, husband, father, son, brother and pawpaw passed away at the age of 84 years. Jesus was born December 24, 1935 in San Luis Potosi Mexico to Sixto and Cecilia Sanchez.
Jesus was retired from Stone Container Corporation and was a lifelong resident of Lindale alongside his wife, the late Lasteen Albritton Sanchez. He loved vacations to Mexico, his hobbies included carpentry work and dancing. Jesus will forever be remembered by his three children and spouses; Yolanda (Jorge) Torres, Carlos (Ericka) Sanchez and Anita (James) Cantu. He will also be remembered by his siblings Romana Salazar of Houston, Texas, Luis (Louise) Sanchez of Murchison, Texas and Joe Sanchez of Monterey Mexico. Jesus will also be forever remembered by his numerous grandchildren; Cathy Torres, LJ Cantu, Caitlin Conner, Adriana Valdez, Jesus “Chuy” Cantu, Dalton Sanchez and Knox Sanchez as well as his great grandchild Areluis Valdez and many extended family members and dear friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Dalton Sanchez, Marcus Conner, LJ Cantu, Chuy Cantu, Chris Albritton, and Andrew Blanco.
Services: Very Rev. John Gomez, JCL with Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception will be officiating the funeral. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service on Wednesday 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. At Tyler Memorial Funeral Home followed by a committal service at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
