Funeral services for Jimmie Craig, 69, of Tyler will be 1:00PM Thursday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Williams Cemetery. Mr. Craig was born on the 8th of April, 1944 in Brownwood, TX to Richard Allen & Charline Hodo Craig and passed away on January 12, 2014 in Tyler. Mr. Craig was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Formerly of Irving, he had lived in Tyler since the 1970’s. Survivors include best friend & companion, Ruby Lawler of Tyler; children, Bobbie Craig of Tyler, Jodie Craig of Tyler, Heidii Godbold of Tyler, Jimmy Youngblood of Katy, Ellen Shankles of Dallas, Linnea Malone of Spring, Bettne Zamora of Corinth; grandchildren, Nikki Craig of Tyler, Claire and Jake Godbold of Tyler, Rosemary, Zachary & Jonathan Youngblood of Katy, Abigail & Simon Shankles of Dallas, Maddox and Ryan Malone of Spring, Austin Ross of Corinth; sisters, Sandy Sanchez of Chilicothe, MO, & Kay Clark of San Antonio; and brother, Mike Craig of Shawnee, OK. Pallbearers will be Jason Godbold, James Zamora, Timothy Malone, Blaine Slaughter, Jose Taramona & Andy Decker. Visitation will be 6-8PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
