There are too many good memories to write about! However, there is one that always comes to mind. The memory is about how he killed a copperhead snake. It was by my dads feet. I had fallen asleep at Uncle Larry's house. Dad came and picked me up to carry me home through the trail that ran between our two houses. I remember my dad stopping and staying super still and yelling out for Larry. Larry went and grabbed a garden hoe and killed the snake. I was never scared because I didn't know what was happening until after it was all over. He was a wonderful Uncle and a wonderful brother to my dad. He always had a smile on his face and he always called me Carla Louise instead of just Carla. I loved that. I'm so sorry for the loss to his kids and grandkids. I know they will miss him terribly.
