Lewis Haynes died peacefully at home in Flint on August 15, 2015, at the age of 91. He was born on March 6, 1924 in Lindale. He was a faithful member of The First Baptist Church of Gresham, where he loved to play 42 with The Son Shine Group.
Lewis is survived by his three sons, Rock Haynes, Clif Haynes and Rick Haynes, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. And was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Haynes and son, Jim Haynes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, August 17, 2015 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler. Interment will follow at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
