Susie Smith, age 80, a sweet angel of Lufkin, Texas passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020. Susie was born on Tuesday, January 16, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to John Henry Smith and Lora W. Wilson.

Susie is survived by her sister Diana Newberry; sister in-law Vonda Smith; nephews Mike Smith, Paul (Sandy) Smith, Rob (Wanda) Smith, Reeford (Ladonna) Sherrell, Jeremy Sherrell, Tommy Smith Jr. and Jody Smith; and nieces Tammy Sherrell, Karen Frazier, Lynn (Brent) McMillan, Kimberly Hutto, Leyonda Duggan and Vickie Dianna (Bronson) Davis

Susie is preceded in death by her parents John Henry and Lora W. Smith; and brothers John Wylie Smith and Tommy H. Smith.

Susie’s graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
