She was born July 6, 1918 and passed away August 30, 2011 in Tyler. She was co-owner of Vine Street Etc. Resale shop for 20 years. She was a Christian and attended the First Assembly of God in Whitehouse for over 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Chapman Belk of Tyler; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Morphis; daughter, Jean Adair; daughter, Vickey Green; grandson, Tommy Chapman and granddaughter, Laura Allison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Myers, John Adair, Stephen Chapman, Bryan Chapman, Tim Green, Adam Evans and Cody Grace.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
