Margie Grace Walker

Margie Walker was raised in Texas and graduated from Brownwood Vocational School of Nursing. She married Jim B. Walker in 1962 and the couple had 3 children Margie and Jim were happily married for 64 years. She was a LVN Nurse at multiple healthcare facilities. She worked at Christus Mother Francis Hospital for over 40 years. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with family, going to church and reading and playing games. Her family will always remember her as sweet, nurturing, peace keeping and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Her walk with Jesus was a beautiful example to others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Will and Mildred Bradley; son, Billy Walker; sisters, Nella Whiteley, Vada Fagan, Ilene Hightower, Phyllis Jones; brothers, John Bradley and Lester Bradley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Walker of Tyler; daughter, Teresa Scott of Lindale; daughter, Kathleen Giles of Tyler; daughter, Donna McMahan of Tyler; brother, Jimmy Bradley of Lake Stryker and many special grands and great grandchildren in Tyler and Henderson and many wonderful nieces.

Her greatest accomplishments in life were that she was a prayer leader, Sunday School teacher, wife and mother and grandmother.
