Martin was raised in Port Arthur, TX and attended Lom POC high school in 1962.
Martin served in the Marine Corps and was a Lance Corporal. He served his country proudly from 1959-1963.
He married the love of his life Judith Ann Johnson in 1962, and they had four beautiful children together. He proudly worked as a maintenance electrician at Kelly Springfield where he worked for 32 years.
When Martin had spare time he enjoyed fishing, shooting his guns, model air planes, working on computers and other electronics, farming and working on classic cars.
People that knew Martin will always remember him as a loyal husband and father. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was very kind and helpful, courageous and humble. He was very honorable and most importantly a soldier for Jesus Christ.
Martin is preceded in death by wife Judith Kennedy (Judy) and his parents, Lucille Bono Kennedy and Eugene Francis Kennedy. Grandparents, Martin Kennedy IV, Reba Kennedy, Lena Taglarino Bono, John Bono.
Martin is survived by his children, Martin Eugene Kennedy VI & wife Beth Kennedy, Laura Kennedy Long, John Wesley Kennedy wife Tabatha Kennedy, Michael David Kennedy. Daughter in Law, Maribel Kennedy.
Grandchildren, Ryan Kennedy, David King Kennedy, Eric Robertson, Brandon Long, John Kennedy JR, Mikayla Kennedy, Martin Kennedy VII.
Martin will be truly missed but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.
