Retired Army Master Sergeant, Melton L. Brown was called to heaven on December 7, 2018 from his home in Tyler, Texas while under the care of his family and Hospice of East Texas.

Melton was born January 28, 1943 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston to Melton and Lela Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Terry Brown, his brothers, Phillip Brown and Stephen Brown.

Survivors include his wife Trish Brown of Tyler, his daughter, Charlotte Brown Aldridge and husband Jerry Aldridge of Rusk, his sister, Sharon Riley of Temple, his grandchildren, Adrian, Kevin, Chasdon, Corbin, Alyssia and Terrius, and great-grandson Karter.

Services will be at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home in Tyler on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm with service at 2:00 pm in the Chapel and internment to follow.
