She was born on February 21, 1949 in Ft. Worth, TX to Jack and Annie Jo Sandifer.
Growing up Pam attended local schools in Ft. Worth and graduated from Richland High School.
After high school Pam enrolled into North Texas State and acquired her degree in education and then for the next 34 years Pam was a teacher educating children. Twenty of those years she taught at Douglas and Griffin elementary schools here in Tyler. In 1976 Pam met and then later married Michael Stevens and spent the next 34 years together raising their family. For the past 25 years Pamela has been a faithful member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler. She also was a member of their Celebration Choir.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Michael Stevens of Tyler, sons, Daniel Stevens of Dallas, Ben Stevens of Tyler, one grandchild, parents Jack and Annie Jo Sandifer of Ft. Worth, Aunt, Sherrilee Singer and uncle, Claud Singer.
