She was born on January 9, 1944 in McKinney to Willie and Thomas Frazier. Patsy married Leslie D. Shipp on October 23, 1964 at the Field City Baptist Church in Dallas. She and her husband spent the next 54 years together raising four children; Steven, Stephanie, Russell, and Kevin in Tyler. Patsy's joy in life was her family, spending weekends at Lake Whitney as the children played she ensured there was always plenty to eat. As the years went on her love for the outdoors continued where she could be found watching the hummingbirds, tending to flowers and watching the rabbits scurry across the yard.
Patsy's family will gather at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 21, to receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm. On Wednesday, August 22, a celebration of life service will take place at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00am.
