Phyllis E. Snyder, age 91, of Tyler, passed away in the mid-evening hours of Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. She was born on March 14, 1921 in Freeport, Illinois to Floyd Earl and Ida Leah Diddens Snyder; they preceded her in death. Phyllis was a homemaker and loving mother to her son and dogs. She had a tremendous love for God and was a member of the Grace Community Church in Tyler.
Phyllis is survived by two nephews, Ronnie Lender of Freeport, IL and Dennis Alden, and wife Linda, of Tyler, and two nieces, Marlene Winters, and husband Harold, of Freeport, IL and Connie Harms, and husband Steve, of Azel, TX.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Floyd Bendick.
Services for Ms. Snyder will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 9, 2012 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Shane Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Memorial Park with Ronnie Lender, Josh Harms, Luke Harms, Tom Alden, John Alden, and Mason Aldredge serving as pallbearers.
