Mr. Ray Owens, 89, of Tyler died March 11, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.

Ray was born June 1, 1929 in Jarrell to Samuel David and Rosa Stanford Owens.

He was a true Texas cowboy who lived to rope and ride.

Preceding Ray in death were his parents, his wife of thirty four years, Mary Lee Bruno Owens and two grandsons, David Ray Kimbrell and Kirk Andrew Kimbrell.

He is survived his daughter, Connie Raye (Dewayne) Kimbrell; granddaughter Krystal Kimbrell; grandson Bradlee Kimbrell and great-granddaughter Kameron Ward; wife Hilda Owens; step-daughter Jennette Green and step-sons Lonnie (Sandra) Hilton and Billy Hilton.
