Ron R. Lowman, a devoted family man and lifelong resident of Tyler, Texas, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 72.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Lowman; his son, Glenn Hendrix; his brother, Donald Lowman; and his parents, David Leon and Lucille Elizabeth Whytte Lowman.
Ron is survived by his brother, Lee Lowman; his sons, Gregory Lowman and David Lowman (wife Nicole Lowman); and his daughters, Ada Lowman, BJ Lowman, Angie Kostiuk (husband Henry Kostiuk), and Wynde Wood.
He was a proud grandfather to:
Katie Brabec (husband Brenan Brabec), Kaylee Longacre, Kylie Hammers, Emma Lowman, Alyssa Haines, Andrew Haines, Hannah Vaughn, Madyson Rios, Ryan Lowman, Chase Lowman, Kyle-Blake Curtis, Emma Owens, Gregory Bryce Lowman, Allie Lowman, Teagan Rios, and Brittany Darnell.
He was also blessed with great-grandchildren:
Jaxon Brabec, Levi Brabec, Ryleigh Brabec, Addison Cooper Dylan Longacre, Oakley Mae Gonzalez, Grant Darnell, Lucille Darnell, Charlotte Darnell, Isabelle Curtis, Kyle-Blake Curtis Jr., Clayton Curtis, Bo McDaniels, and Emmett Havro.
He also leaves behind his grandson-in-law, Branden Havro.
Ron was a man of few words, but those who knew him understood the depth of his love and loyalty. He worked hard all his life and took pride in providing for his family. Some of his favorite moments were spent outdoors fishing, and especially hunting with family on opening weekend, a cherished tradition that brought everyone together.
A celebration of life will be held at the family’s residence at a later date, following his cremation, allowing family members traveling from Missouri and elsewhere to come together in remembrance.
