Roy Kenneth Griffith, 80, of Tyler, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Tyler. Roy, a retired Mold & Bladder at Kelly-Springfield, was born on November 15, 1933 in Snyder. He received an Associate’s Degree in Agriculture and served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mabel Griffith; brother, Gene Griffith and son, Royce Griffith. He is survived by his wife, Ozella Griffith of Tyler; daughter, Glenda (and her husband, Bob) Voit of Tyler; son, Brian (and his wife, Kim) Griffith of Flint; sister, Wanda (and her husband, Phil) Rhods of Arguille; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
