Mass of Christian Burial for Ruben Garza, 49, of Tyler is scheduled for 10:00am, Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. There will be a time of visitation starting at 6pm then the Recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7pm Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
Mr. Garza was born April 30, 1961 to Francisco and Hermelinda Garza. He passed away October 9, 2010. He lived in the Tyler area most of his life and was a painter. He is survived byhis wife Imelda Garza of Tyler; sons, Jesus Garza and Ruben Garza, Jr., both of Tyler; and one grandchild, Thalia Garza of Tyler; five sisters, Laurentina Sanchez of Tyler, Armandina Salas of Mexico, Arminda Pilar and Belizario Garza, both of Tyler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Javier Garza, Jaime Loya, Jr., Armando Salas, Alejandro Alvarez, Jose Garza and Esteban Martinez.
Arrangements are under the care of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
