Services for Ruby Frizzell Hendrix Draisey, 91, of Tyler are scheduled for 2 pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Fisher officiating. Interment will follow at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Draisey was born May 27, 1920 in Tyler to the late Archie and Ruby Frizzell and passed away on July 18, 2011 in Tyler. She was chief building manager for the U.S. Veteran Administration. She was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Honor Society.
She is survived by her children; J.M. Hendrix and wife, Joan, of Bullard, Darryl Hendrix and wife, Rhonda of Tyler, Wanda Worley and husband, Alfred of Lindale and Sharon Kite and husband, Val of Rosharon, Texas; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; one brother; husbands, Jesse Murphy Hendrix and Forrest Draisey.
Visitation will be from 1pm till service time at the funeral home.
