Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Self was born on February 1, 1920, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, to Jasper Seth and Lydia Burks Rogers and passed away on June 14, 2015, in Tyler. She had lived in Tyler most of her life, was a member of Tyler Tabernacle and a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Mark Self and wife Diane, of Colleyville, Martin Bradley Self and wife Sandra, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Michael Jackson Self, of Gladstone, Alabama; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Rogers, of Eureka, California; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Self was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Self; one child; two grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
