Shirley loved cooking, reading and crafting ceramics. Gardening and tending to her flowers was her passion, but overall she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. Shirley has been married to the love of her life, Kenith, for 64 years. Her favorite color was green, and her favorite flowers were Lilies, Irises and Amaryllis. She also enjoyed volunteering for the East Texas State Fair for many years. Shirley will be missed by many.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband Kenith Aills; children Leonard (Suzanne) Aills, Mitchell (Eva) Aills, and Vance (Genevieve) Aills; 6 grandchildren and numerus great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Orin Olson and Mary Elizabeth Cave; brothers Bobby, Loren and Leonard.
A time of visitation for Shirley will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, following a celebration of Shirley's life will occur Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. The graveside service will occur at 3:30 p.m. following the funeral services at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
