Socorro was a women of unconditional love and kindness. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Socorro was the mother figure to her siblings growing up, as well. Socorro had a beautiful soul and was very dedicated to God. Throughout her whole life, through all the trials and tribulations, her faith never changed.
Socorro was survived by her children Luis R. Aparicio, Alicia A. Ruiz, Juan M. Aparicio, Consuelo Sandoval, Armando Aparicio, Martin Aparicio, Carmen Alvarez, Roberto Aparicio, and Maria Olga Garza; sisters Carmen Medina, Cruzita Medina, and Ventura Gonzalez; brothers Guadalupe Garcia, and Merced Garcia.
Socorro is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Roberto L. Aparicio; and parents Fidel Garcia and Maria Cruz Medina.
The funeral mass will occur Monday, August 17, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. A graveside service will occur Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at the Liberty Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Tyler, Texas.
