

Stephen Lee White went to be with his Lord Savior on July 2, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was 74 years old. Stephen was born on March 10, 1951 in Grand Saline, Texas to William and Anne (Devero) White.
Stephen married Brenda Stone on December 17, 1971 in Tyler, Texas. They enjoyed almost 54 years of loving marriage.
Stephen started his career with Oncor (then Texas Power & Light) on July 3, 1972 & retired after 41 years of service. He didn’t care much for retirement, so he took a position at Thedford Construction as their Safety Manager from 2015-2020. He had an opportunity to become a FCC for McCurley Enterprises in 2020. He took that position & worked until about a month before his passing.
Stephen was an avid deer hunter until work prevented him from pursuing his favorite pastime. He loved spending time with his grand kids & great-grandkids & they loved being with their Grandad.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents William & Anne (Devero) White & a great-granddaughter Calliope Jade Moore. He is survived by his wife Brenda White of Tyler, two sons Christopher White of Tyler & Clinton White & his fiance Michelle Wright of Tyler; 7 grand children, Emilee White & her fianc6 Joshua Moore of Tyler, Alexandra Husketh & her husband Jordan Husketh of Tyler, Catherine (Cati) White of Frankston, William Avery White & Madison White of Troup, Sarah Wright of Tyler & Jonathan Rhoades of Midland; 5 great-grand children Noah White, August White, River White, Eliot Moore & Colter Husketh all of Tyler; 3 siblings, William Patrick White & his wife Nelda of San Antonio, Suzanne Martin & her husband Travis of Tyler & Lori Flens & her husband Chuck of Flint
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
