Sylvia Waters, age 102, passed away on March 19, 2026 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on November 9, 1923 in Hamilton, Texas to Velmer H. Bennett and Cora Bennett. Sylvia was raised in Columbia Kentucky and graduated from high school. Sylvia retired from General Electric Company where she worked for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed time with family and reading her bible. She was known for listening and praying for those that called or came by. Her family and friends will always remember her as caring, loving and giving. A prayer warrior that helped others.
