Services for Velma G. Colston, 91, of Tyler, will be 10:00AM Wednesday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev Atwell Hankins officiating with burial in Tyler Memorial Park, with Tyler Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Colston was born on April 25, 1921 in Hallettsville, TX to William H. & Bessie Ponton Gregory and passed away on June 24, 2012. Mrs. Colston has lived in area all of life was a hairdresser and a member of the Assembly of God in Overton, TX. Survivors include Son: Ronald Alan Colston & Wife: Betty of Nacogdoches, Daughter: Sue Maxfield of Bullard, Grandchildren: Brian A. Colston, Jason Maxfield, Diane Stanley, & Kimberly Maxfield Marr, Numerous Greatgrandchildren & Greatgreatgrandchildren, Also Surviving many other relatives & Friends including Richard Hollerman & Wife Judy of Mexia.
She was preceded in death by Parents, Children: Alton Eugene Colston & Gloria Ann Colston
Pallbearers: Jason Maxfield, Brian A Colston, Gary Colston, Bobby Dan Colston, Shawn Marr & Seth Maxfield.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
