Vickie Cherie Oldham, 59, of Tyler, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 15, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 18 at Lanes Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Gage officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 pm at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
Born on July 31, 1957, in Tyler, Texas, Vickie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Vickie managed the Vine Terrace Apartments for many years but her most cherished and important role was Nani to her precious grandchildren Caroline and Trip.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Winter and Gordon Roberts Jr. of Tyler and two grandchildren, Caroline Roberts and Trip Roberts; brother and sister-in-law Tony and Gayla Oldham of Lowell, Arkansas; niece and husband Lauren and Josh Hobbs and great-nephew Jack Hobbs all of Washington, DC. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents Billie Rae McClain and Donald Lee Oldham.
