Virginia Nell Gewin was born on February 29, 1936 in Vivian, Louisiana to parents Ellie and Alton Mason. Virginia Gewin entered into eternal rest on November 15, 2025 at her home in Tyler Texas. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Virginia was a woman of God and her faith was very strong with him. She loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed and her memory will be cherished by all that knew and loved her. Virginia Nell Gewin was preceded in death by her parents, Ellie and Alton Mason, husband, Thomas Gewin, siblings, Birdie Long and Elvis Mason, A.C Mason. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cloud; son, Dennis O’Daniel; brother, Ray Mason; grandchildren; Christopher Munn, Jennifer Amaya and husband Frank, Cody O’Daniel, Derek O’Daniel and wife Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Chloe O’Daniel, Brighton Munn, Ethan Falcon, Navy O’Daniel, Presley O’Daniel and one great great grandchild, Everly Rose Falcon.
