Arlene Pachiodo Staubley

Uncasville-Arlene D. Staubley, age 86, left this earth to be with the Lord on May 25, 2016 at William W. Backus Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on July 27, 1929 in Norwich to the late Frank J. and Rosilda (Lusignan) Pachiodo. She was married to Louis J.P. Manville who predeceased her in 1969 and Richard E. Staubley who predeceased her in 2011.

Arlene doted on her family, and rejoiced in being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bowling, was a member of the Montville Senior center and a lifelong member of St. John Church.

She was the loving matriarch of a large and happily blended family who will miss her greatly. She is survived by a son Paul Manville and his wife Pamela of Oakdale, a son John Manville of Uncasville, a daughter Cynthia Kozaczensky and her husband Raymond of Uncasville, a stepdaughter Virginia MacGregor and her husband Robert of Oakdale, step daughter-in –law Danielle Staubley of Uncasville and stepdaughter Diane Keemon of Florida. She also leaves behind a brother Francis J. Pachiodo of Uncasville. She is predeceased by a stepson William Staubley.

She will be greatly missed by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews too numerous to list.

Family and friends may visit, Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich New London Tpke, Uncasville on Tuesday May 31st from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 1st at 10:00 at St. John Church in Uncasville. Arlene will arrive on time. Burial will immediately follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Montville.
