Uncasville-Barbara (Lasiewicz) Kuzia- Born August 26, 1936 in Norwich, CT to Louis and Helen (Deptula) Lasiewicz, she was called from this earthly life on September 19, 2015. Barbara graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1954 and enjoyed many class reunions. She wed Eugene S. Kuzia on July 4, 1955 with whom she shared her love and life for 60 years. She was a faithful communicant of Saint John Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela, of Colchester, her two sons James of Bozrah and Timothy of Oakdale and their respective families. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 25th 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 63 Norwich New London Tpke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday September 26th at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Church, Maple Ave., Uncasville. Burial will immediately follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
