She is also survived by her sister Bev and brother-in-law Bill, and their daughter Katie; as well as her brother Larry and his daughter Emily. Cheryl spent her early years in Connecticut and began her career at General Dynamics. She later moved to Dallas, Texas with Dan, where she built a distinguished career in the surety industry, working with the Mills Company. After retiring, Cheryl returned to Connecticut to be closer to her son and grandchildren, whom she adored. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she had a unique ability to bring laughter to any room.
A devoted sports fan, Cheryl didn’t just watch the games—she broadcast her opinions at full volume, often providing running commentary that could be heard around the house. She enjoyed following the Dallas Cowboys which, in later years, caused Cheryl great frustration and her sister Beverly, much joy.
