Cyndimae Martha Meehan

Meehan-Cyndimae Martha Meehan, Mohegan's Golden Sun Feather,.passed quietly and peacefully in her Daddy's arms after a 13 year battle with Dravet Syndrome, secondary to vaccinations. Wherever she went, Cyndimae was a unifying force to be reckoned with. Whether spreading hugs to strangers, affecting legislative change or resonating her laughter wherever she traveled. She is survived by her parents, Robert Jr. and Susan W. Meehan, her sisters Cassandra, Corrine, and Catrina, her paternal grandparents Robert Sr. and Florence Meehan of West Greenwich RI, and her maternal grandmother Martha Comeau. She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather Joseph B. Comeau Jr. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Tom and Gina Kilday, John and Robin Halloran, Rick and Michelle Meehan, Mike Meehan, and Nicole Meehan, Kathy Regan-Pyne and Roy Pyne, Beth Regan and Geri White, Joann Regan and Joe Marks, Tim Regan and Rachele Poole and Joseph B. Comeau III. She also leaves her extended family including Mary Fink, Linda Stewart, Emma Haslip, and Roland Papa Fink, and many cousins. Cyndimae was a warrior who lived life to the fullest and will be held in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen Rte. 32 Uncasville. A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at Fort Shantok Burial Ground Uncasville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation.org.
