Uncasville- Doris L. (Lil) (Jarvis) Fiedorowicz, age 81, passed away at William W. Backus Hospital on August 16, 2010. She was born on May 29, 1929 in Norwich, CT to the late George and Stella (Zajac) Jarvis. She married her loving husband Walter Fiedorowicz on May 26, 1951.
She enjoyed baking, going to the casino, and most of all, spoiling her grandsons.
In addition to her husband Walter, she leaves behind a son, Gary Fiedorowicz and his wife Karen of Bozrah, and grandsons, Matthew and Gregory Fiedorowicz of Hope Valley, RI. She is also survived by brothers George Jarvis Jr. of Norwich and Richard Jarvis of Thailand, sisters Ethel Ducharme and her husband Turk, of Lisbon, and Irene Gauvin of Las Vegas, NV, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Church in Montville on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lil’s honor to St. John Church, 22 Maple Avenue, Uncasville, CT 06382. The Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen is assisting the family with arrangements.
