Edward Page Sr.

Uncasville- Edward Page Sr., passed away July 2, 2021 at the William W. Backus Hospital.

Ed was born August 1, 1940 in Montgomery, WV, the son of the late Louden and Dorothy (Paul) Page.

He married Diane Carollo January 14, 1967 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Astoria, NY. She survives him.

Edward graduated from Mohegan Community College in 1985 and from Eastern CT State University in 1988.

Edward was extremely proud of his military service. He was in the Navy for 20 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. After his retirement, he worked for the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Maintenance Officer for 20 years.

Edward volunteered as a Boy Scout leader for all of his sons and he especially enjoyed camping. He was an avid traveler who saw the world. Known as “Mr. Christmas”, Ed loved the Christmas holiday season. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Mohegan Fire Department. But above all else, his family was most important to him.

In addition to his loving wife Diane, he is survived by his sons Edward Page Jr. and his wife Vickki, Steven Page, Gregory Page and his wife Angela, by his daughter Judith Page Barry, sister Carol Trelany-Ross, brother Louden Page Jr., grandchildren Christopher Page, Edward Page III, Gabriella Page, Kathryn Page, Stephanie Page, Benjamin Barry, Carolyn Barry and Julia Barry and Brittany Jullaranine-Quinn.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Linda Carnicelli.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Disabled American Veterans or to St. Bernard’s School in Uncasville.
