Oakdale-George L. Vega, age 88, of Oakdale, passed away at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich on February 4, 2025. He was born in the Bronx, NY on November 27, 1936 to the late Liborio and Graciela (Soto) Vega. He married Rochelle (Davis) Vega. She predeceased him.
George worked as an airline pilot.
He is survived by a son Michael Vega and his wife Peggy of Oakdale, a granddaughter Marianne Davis and her husband Adrian of Oakdale and great grandchildren Noah, Damian, Xavier and Malcolm.
