Helen M. Coggeshall

She was born August 11, 1918 in Pascoag, RI, the daughter of the late Andrew Mizov Morse and Mary (Benko).

She married the late John L. Coggeshall October 18, 1947 at the Central Baptist Church in Norwich.

She had worked as a home economics teacher in Clinton, CT and as a PBX operator at the William W. Backus Hospital.

She was a member of the Central Baptist Church where she served as deaconess and was an active choir member. She was a past president of the Montville Historical Society. She loved music and especially loved to sing and play the piano. During her marriage she devoted herself to her family, and was known for her excellent pies.

She is survived by her sons Robert, John and James Coggeshall, daughter Anne Wimsey, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and by her brother in law Warren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Andrew and sister Anna.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
