John K. Przybyl

Oakdale-John K. Przybyl, age 65, of Oakdale, passed away at his home on May 18, 2026. He was born on May 11, 1961 in New London to the late Clarence and Lorane (Vogt) Przybyl. He attended St. Bernard School. He married Lisa (Kettledon) Przybyl in 2006. She survived him.

John worked as a senior field service technician for Purvis in Newport, Rhode Island. He enjoyed his time working on US Submarines and traveling to Naval bases around the world. His Harley Davidson motorcycle was one of his most prized possessions.

John will be remembered as a loyal friend who was always willing to lend a hand to anybody. His joyful “Greetings!” at the beginning of any conversation could always bring a smile to your face.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by three brothers: Dan (Lori), Tom (Donna), and Greg (Karen), as well as a sister, Lori (Mark) Baron. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

His wife Lisa added 3 children to his life: Michael (Crystal) Curtis, Heather (Jerry) Kadinger, and Jesse (Kellie) Green, along with 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
