She was born June 3, 1931 in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude Wecko.
She married Robert Wilson April 1, 1965 in Colchester CT. He survives her.
Edith worked as a dressmaker at John Meyer for many years, designing clothing for Betty Davis and Elizabeth Taylor. She then went on to work for the State of CT as a health aide for DMR.
In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by her son Monty Wilson and his wife Sheila, daughter Cheryl Stuart and her husband Matthew, by her sister Margot Wecko, and by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Thomas DiLallo, brother Gunter Wecko and sister Hildegard Ayres.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
