Mrs. Margaret Gonsowski Wainwright

She was born in Preston CT on January 21, 1922 to the late John and Bertha (Klebrowski) Gonsowski.

She attended NFA and soon thereafter, began her family with her beloved husband Ernest who she married in 1942.

Margaret worked for twenty years at the First National grocery store in Groton and New London. She enjoyed gourmet cooking, fine rug making, loved nature - especially birds, and was very proud of her Polish heritage. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a member of their guild until she was unable to attend due to her health.

She is survived by her husband Ernest, a daughter; Patricia A. Wainwright, sister; Mary Pack, grandchild; Joseph E Baracco Jr of Sarasota, FL and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by one son; Timothy in 2009, brothers; John, Henry, Edward, Sylvester, Walter and Stanley, and sisters; Julia, Eleanor and Josephine.

There are no services.
