Robert was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Montville VFW Post 10060 and the Montville American Legion Post 112.
He is survived by a daughter Bonnie and her husband Terry of Oakdale, a grandson Andrew Scovish III of Montville, a grandaughter Tammy Scovish of Norwich, a grandaughter Dawn Hamlin and her husband Edward of DeLand Florida, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
