Robin Lynn Grabon

Robin was born March 3, 1957 in Groton, Conn., the daughter of Richard E. Jerome Sr. and Marie I. (Hary) Jerome. Raised in Waterford, she met the love of her life and best friend Steven D. Grabon while playing in the high school band. It was love at first sight and they were married at the Second Congregational Church in New London on June 18,1977. Steve and Robin cherished the life they shared together and were happily married for 47 years.

In addition to her loving husband, Robin is survived by her daughter Lynette Lizee and her husband Justin, by her son Jeffrey Grabon and his wife Lindsey, by grandchildren Norah and Nathan Grabon, and by her brother Richard E. Jerome Jr. and his wife Tammy.

Robin spent many warm, sunny days tending to her plants and watching birds visit the birdbath. She enjoyed laughing and smiling with family and friends at picnics and gatherings. She found joy in gardening, sewing, cooking and baking which drew people together and created many fond memories. With her husband by her side, they shared many adventures including cruises and trips to Hawaii, Alaska and Europe.

Robin loved caring for her home and family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Robin was a light in the lives of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Rte 32, Montville on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 3 pm. Calling hours will be held from 12:30 pm until the time of the service.
