He was born in Uncasville, CT on Nov 3, 1931 to the late Clarence and Alice (Johnson) Street.
He worked throughout his life as a groundskeeper at CONN College until his retirement. He enjoyed Nascar as well as local racing, and tinkering with things to fix them or make them better. He was a quiet man who enjoyed time with family.
He is survived by his sons; Roger, James, Thomas and wife Brenda Street, daughter; Barbara Harvey, one brother; Harold Street, grandchildren; William Harvey and Joseph Harvey Jr., and his fiancé Jessie, great-grandchildren; William, Andrew and a third expected any day.
Roger was predeceased by his wife Gladys (Farrell) on July 23, 2011.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
