Rose M Pelchat

She was born on November 2, 1932 in W. Warwick, RI to the late Renato and Mary (Travis) Sampaio. Rose later met and married her one true love, Robert G. Pelchat on May 7, 1955 in W. Warwick. Together, they had four children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she lived for and gave her courage to persevere her illness.

Rose was a strong woman who cared for everyone and gave of herself to all.

Her family extends it’s gratitude to her second family, the Backus Hospital staff. Special thanks to Dr. Donna Romito and Dr. John Pagnozzi who provided excellent care and friendship.

Rose is survived by her husband Robert, and son; David Pelchat and wife Debbie, daughters; Patricia Howard and husband Robert, Linda Goodall and husband Kevin, Lisa Jacobson, sisters; Mary Ann Sowle, Patricia Mauvahill, grandchildren; Christina, Jason, Stefanie, Stacy, Joe, D.J., Hilary and Bobby, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and countless friends. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 10am – 11am with a Funeral Home Service at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen at that time. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
