Badger- Wayne I. Badger, 84 of Lebanon passed away in his home Thursday evening July 24, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born in Irasburg VT, son of the late Irving and Gladys (Dow) Badger. He was retired from the State of Connecticut and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Bessie (Coffey) Badger, his children, Priscilla Sherman of Colchester, Bonnie Shedrick of Coventry, and Susan Church of Lebanon. He also leaves his grandchildren, Nicholas Zawacki of Montville, Kurt Shedrick of Bozrah, Christopher Church of Lebanon, Justin Church of Canterbury, Bruce Badger of Brooklyn, and Jessica Watson of Griswold, and many great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday July 29, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen 53 Norwich New London Tpke. Uncasville. Burial will be private in Vermont at a later date.
