William Martin III of Uncasville passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 21, 2021. He married Carol (Harris) Martin on June 22, 1974, she survives him. Bill was born April 6, 1951 in Providence Rhode Island, to the late William Martin Jr. and Jeanette (Novia) Martin. Bill graduated from Fitch Senior High School Class of 1969. He continued his education at UCONN Avery Point for two years. Bill worked for the New London Day where he supervised loading and training all drivers. He worked for Hunters Ambulance and American Ambulance as a chair car driver. His last job was working for AB Transportation LLC which he loved. Besides his wife Bill is survived by a sister Jean (Timothy) Evans, nephews Timothy (Tracey) Evans, William (Natalie) Evans, great niece Kinsley and great nephew William “Joe” Evans all from Florida.
